Line Drawings, Part Two

This is the final basic contour line drawing of my still life.  I added more detail in the curvilinear object after reviewing the guidelines for drawing contour lines and you're supposed to also draw lines where there is a change in color, which there was on the object.  I found that it enhanced the drawing, so I look forward to drawing more contour, but adding more details.

Slow contour drawing of still life.  The slow contour drawing is more detailed and neat looking, because I spent more time focusing on the individual lines rather than the image as a whole.

Basic contour line drawing using 2B pencil on newsprint.

Quick contour line drawing.  I wanted to capture the essence of the entire still life arrangement, but in doing so, some line lost their structure.

Cross contour line drawing.  I enjoy using this technique and find that it makes the object pop off the page because of the change of line direction and intersecting points.
