Line Analysis

I found these three images off the internet (I wasn't sure if they should come from the textbook or not--I'm using the book to help analyze, but thought I'd share other pictures, too).


Here is an example of a blurred line drawing. The blurred line adds texture to the bear (I think it makes it look more realisitc and soft).  Also, value is a useful tool in this iamge, because it enhances the shape of the bear--it's darker in the creases between the bears arms, body, etc.






(I wish this image didn't have writing below, but I couldn't get rid of it).  I really liked it for structual line, because it's evident how the lines create planes that are overlapping.  It also has similar features of blurred lines within the body adding to the value of each part.  In the background there is also quick contour line drawing or a type of gesture drawing for the object the person is resting on.
